After 24 hours we are here in Nairobi, Kenya.  We are spending the night at the Africa Inland Mission guest house.  They house m’s from all over Africa. 

Tomorrow we leave for Kijabe to take our first look at the possible new project.  Be back soon with more…

For the past 2.5 years LO has focused solely on Vietnam.  It has been amazing to watch our Daddy do some unbelievable things in the lives of the children, the staff, and the birth moms.  This model from every aspect has been highly successful and we are hoping to take the LO model to Kenya, and wherever else we have the opportunity.

Our LO team leaves Sunday, February 21, to investigate the opportunity to partner with others in making the LO model a reality in Africa.  Please ask our Dad to give us wisdom, unity, and clarity in the decision making process.

I will keep you updated, hopefully with some pics, as the trip happens.  Stay tuned…

Lost Orphans is all about rescuing children from abortion and abandonment.  In the 3 years of our existence we have been able to rescue over 75 children, give hope to many birth moms considering abortion, assisted thousands of impoverished Vietnamese with food, finances, give proper burial to over 5,000 unborn children, and erected our first beautiful 10,000 sf community!  What is more fun than that?  Our community staff is the best in the world and the care given to these children and birth moms is second to none.

Do you have a passion to be involved in something bigger than you?  Do you long to see God do some really cool, God-sized things for His glory around this world?  If so, then come join us.  I can tell you that Lost Orphans-Vietnam is able to allocate 100% of the resources given to support our work in Vietnam.  At this time, our US staff have other careers and jobs that allow us to keep the overhead non-existent.

We have trips to Vietnam twice a year so you can hold our children and experience the feel if changing a person’s life forever.

Our summer trip is July 3-12, 2009 and our Winter trip will be right after Christmas in 2009.   The cost is approximately $3000/person and is all inclusive.  Come join the fun!
